Father's Day Arias
There's nothing quite like a morning of longanisa, sio pao, ensaymada, sinaag, Panama Don Pachi coffee and selections from Tosca and La Traviata.
After his triumphant concert last night (which I was unable to attend), Chucky Ibay crashed at the house last night where we spent the morning discussing travel, women, eating Filipino food and tossing around ideas for his up-coming Tour Of Italy concert in the fall. An amalgamation of Italian baroque classics, modern compositions, arias, movie themes and love songs, the sample I got this morning just sounded smashing. The drawing room piano never sounded so good.
Happy Father's Day.
